Malizz and the AoM air force have been spotted in the Abyss recently - all is not lost in Aion
Abraxus bakes a mean cookie

The Archons of Malice Dark Elf forces suffered heavy casualties back in early November when Mythic launched a nuclear attack on the Phoenix Throne. As a result, they have become a rarity in the lands of Warhammer.

Plans for the next group excursion into the world of online gaming are not yet clear, however several promising things lay in the near future including WoW's Cataclysm expansion begging retirees to come back to the dark side,  Diablo III, and the Secret World.

Archons of Malice,

It has been a chaotic few days, but the end is in sight.

We have decided that it is in the best interest of the Archons of Malice to select the Lumiel Server as our primary server for Aion.

This was not an easy decision to come to as our friends and associates will be splitting up amongst a number of servers.  However, in the end, it came down to the community representing itself most vocally on Zikel not aligning with the core values I have always tried to instill in the Archons of Malice.

The Lumiel server looks to have a solid population, although it will certainly be less populated than the busiest servers in Aion.  The population in general appears more mellow, mature, and willing to talk and interact with one another rather than constantly shouting at one another.  AionSource is far from the highest quality forums I have ever visited, yet the Lumiel forums have maintained a sense of decorum that I find ...... Archons of Malice and our allies of the Iron Council,

We approach a new frontier for our guild and alliance to explore with the launch of Aion this week.  For many of us, Warhammer has been a disappointment.  While most of us are not ready to fully give up on WAR, we are no longer able to place our full faith in WAR and are looking for other games that appeal to us.

So, the Archons of Malice will be launching a full chapter in Aion this week and we welcome all members of the Iron Council that are interested in exploring Aion to join us there if they are planning on exploring Aion.

We still however need to determine which server we will select for Aion's launch.  There are a few options with different strengths and weaknesses that we need to consider as a group.

Archons,

We have come to a major crossroads a mere one year into our existence.  Aion will launch in the next week and a significant portion of our active guild and alliance, the Iron Council, will be starting up in Aion.

With a new beginning in Aion comes both the need and opportunity to redefine our goals for our guild/legion and our gaming in general.  We need to determine what is most important to us as a legion in Aion and what server is best going to allow us to enjoy our gaming experience.  In my perspective, we have three servers to choose from and we need to determine which makes the most sense for what we want out of the Archons of Malice.
