Archons of Malice on Lumiel

Archons of Malice,

It has been a chaotic few days, but the end is in sight.

We have decided that it is in the best interest of the Archons of Malice to select the Lumiel Server as our primary server for Aion.

This was not an easy decision to come to as our friends and associates will be splitting up amongst a number of servers. However, in the end, it came down to the community representing itself most vocally on Zikel not aligning with the core values I have always tried to instill in the Archons of Malice.

The Lumiel server looks to have a solid population, although it will certainly be less populated than the busiest servers in Aion. The population in general appears more mellow, mature, and willing to talk and interact with one another rather than constantly shouting at one another. AionSource is far from the highest quality forums I have ever visited, yet the Lumiel forums have maintained a sense of decorum that I find refreshing.

We move into a forum community with a significant community of roleplayers focused intently on the story. I hope we will find them just as eager to engage in dramatic battle with their adversaries, but I look forward to being able to battle my enemies in game and then sparring with them through roleplay on the forums, rather than 4chan flaming.

There are many faces we may recognize from our time in Warhammer Online on Lumiel. Many of our old enemies will now be our allies. Further, we have struck up a friendly rivalry with the IV Skye Lancers which I hope will prove to be bloody and heated.

After all the drama and chaos, I feel settled and happy with our choice of Lumiel.

Please focus your PreSelection on Lumiel. If you only have a single critical name, I suggest you reserve it on Lumiel and also on Zikel as a backup, but if you have a couple names you want to be certain of, I would save them both on Lumiel.

I look forward to spending time with all of you in Aion and making the name of the Archons of Malice known and respected by our Asmodian allies and feared and hated by our Elyos enemies.
